Over time and with exposure to light, this leather will gradually form a natural patina and become darker. Due to the absorbent nature of this leather, the application of a leather protection spray before use is recommended to prevent irreversible staining and watermarks. Light scratches may be buffed away by hand, using clean fingers to activate the natural oils in the leather.
